Meet the designer

Designer and creative director Meritta made her first suit at just nine years old. She went on to spend years in London working across design houses and studios, before returning to Ireland to open Ail Ruin design centre in 1995 with her late husband Dermot.

Ail Ruin became known nationally for its creative eye and its curation of international labels alongside Meritta's own work. Mise Tusa is a natural evolution of that vision, placing a greater focus on Meritta's own designs and creating a space inspired by creativity, individuality and self-expression.
